A friend of mine contacted me recently about the possibility of creating a poster for the Wheels of Life School Fundraiser. I was happy to help and sent the above poster design to him the following day. Event posters can be tricky. You want the information on the poster to be prominent and understandable, but you still only have that brief moment of time to grab the attention of your audience. In this situation it made sense to use the hand-drawn images that were created by the student in the school to help grab the eye of mothers and fathers who can identify with this type of artwork.

Without the drawings on the poster to engage the target audience, the poster would get lost in a sea of text and converting the drawings from the hand drawn style to a more technical style would defeat the child-like qualities that represent what the fundraiser is promoting. The client was very happy with the finished design and we were happy to help out. Now…. we’ll see everyone there on the 31st, right?
